It All Starts Here. Public Schools. Public Good.
The Public School Boards' Association of Alberta (PSBAA) is proud to represent member boards from across the province. These school boards serve more than 800 schools and more than 250,000 students, from north to south, and east to west.
Public schools are the lifeblood of their communities. Each one is the starting point for the workers, builders and leaders of tomorrow, who leave with the skills they need to succeed. Qualified staff teach valuable lessons there that support both student achievement and well-being. Public schools are also where new ideas take root and where programs are shaped to fit the needs of the local community.
Public schools are where it all begins.
With this in mind, the Association is sharing the Faces and Voices of Public School Education out to all. We hope you enjoy the stories we share, celebrating our collective successes and recognizing how important public schools are to our communities, our province and our society.
